In a letter to Save The Sacred Sites Alliance founder, Sharon, who asked serious questions about the airport and its right to disturb Indigenous graves, the lawyer for the airport and Franklin, N.C. mayor (holds both posts.) told Save The Sacred Sites Alliance and you (our supporters) that neither he nor the airport authority nor Macon County, North Carolina had to answer any of our or your important questions. This was in defiance of the freedom of information act and federal laws. In a prior meeting the county told the lawyer to ask for questions.
